Airbus to cut 10,000 jobs

Airbus on Wednesday confirmed controversial restructuring plans that will see 10,000 jobs go over the next four years across the aircraft maker’s 16 European sites.

The aircraft maker said it would book a €680m charge in the first quarter to cover the cost of the job losses which will primarily fall in Germany and France.
